যেহেতু, সংখ্যটি 5 দ্বারা ভাগ করার ফলে 3 অবশিষ্ট থাকে সেহেতু সংখ্যাটি হবে 5 এর গুনিতকের সাথে 3 এর যোগফল।
অর্থাৎ 5 × 1 + 3 = 8
8 এর বর্গ = 82 = 64
5 ÷ 64
ভাগফল = 12, ভাগশেষ = 4
